Let The Festivities Begin!

Ladies, the social season has arrived and we need to meet it in well-heeled style. Statement shoes are an absolute essential at any social event and with the festive season drawing in closer and events such as New Years Eve and the office Christmas Party on the agenda itโ€™s time to get your wardrobe party perfect and where better to start than with your shoes?

For shoes that will turn heads look for embellishments and metallics or embrace the colour-blocking trend with multi-shade shoes or the global traveller trend with shoes in ethnic inspired patterns.

Shoes that sparkle ensure a dramatic entrance every time. For this look we canโ€™t go past the Mollini Offering heel. With contrasting black satin and purple glitter get ready to light up the dance floor in your Offering heels. Make the shoes pop by pairing them with high waisted black skinny leg jeans and a cropped lace detail top.

Colour block from top to toe with a pair of bold, two-toned heels. The Windsor and Smith Hana heels embody this trend to perfection. In striking emerald and purple pair your Hana heels with a neutral shift dress then pick up the purple and green again in your accessories and makeup by adding a purple or green clutch and bright nail polish.

Travel the world through your wardrobe this season with the global traveller trend. Defined by bohemian details and ethnic inspired prints in modern silhouettes, embrace this free-spirited style with the Senso Delilah heels. Not for the faint hearted the angular shape of the heels and wild print will turn heads wherever you go.

I Love Billy

So, I stumbled across this website whilst looking some shoes for the party season and came across I Love Billy.

I think shoes for the festive season get absolutely trashed (maybe it’s just me?) from all the mingling and drinking that gets done over the holidays, so I was on the hunt for a cute, fashionable pair of shoes that weren’t a killer to my bank account.

And there it was – I Love Billy appeared! With most of their shoes under the $100 mark and the super cute styles in their collection, you can’t go wrong with I Love Billy.

I am currently eyeing off these I Love Billy Primas as well as these gorgeous I Love Billy Uplink‘s in a gorgeous hue of orange – perfect for the summer colour blocking trend this season!

I am looking at purchasing the I Love Billy Primas for a more formal holiday occasion, such as the annual family dinner or a charity event as well as the I Love Billy Uplinks for more of a day time look – think summer BBQ’s spent by the beach!

When I get a hold of these babies, I’ll be sure to do a review and let you know how they went over the holiday season! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Make sure you check out the I Love Billy website to check out the rest of the range, and they are also available from The Iconic.

Kym completed a degree in fashion design at the world famous Central St. Martins in London and previously worked for Russh magazine.

Her designs are ultra chic, feminine and definitely ready to wear.

This gorgeous Ellery Honey Mooner shoe has the perfect platform and wooden heel. Absolutely perfect for summer and paired with a simple white cotton dress.
